(Port Aransas, TX) Don’t miss your chance to whoop it up at the 15th Annual Whooping Crane Festival which begins on Thursday, February 24th with activities scheduled through Sunday, February 27th, 2011 in Port Aransas, Texas on Mustang Island. Early registration closes on February 11 and several of the trips and workshops are filling up fast. Festival-goers will also be able to travel by boat to the Aransas Wildlife Refuge, which is the wintering home of the spectacular endangered Whooping Crane. Additional activities include a nature related trade show, children’s corner, GLO mobile display, bird guides at our birding facilities, bus and boat trips, photography workshops, International Crane Foundation Children’s Art Exhibit and much more.
