Shore & Beach Birding This field trip has been designed to explore, more comprehensively, the exciting world of shorebirds, their habits and identification. It is designed for those with an interest in learning and most especially about shorebird silhouette identification. It's recommended that students would have already experienced bird identification but now wish to know more. FULL Saturday, Feb. 25, 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (4 hrs) LOCATION: Meet at the Port Aransas Nature Preserve pavilion at the end of Port Street (along the ship channel).
Advanced Island Birding For the advanced birder, this field trip will dig in further to help you identify and learn the intricacies of birding on the Texas Gulf Coast. FULL Sunday, Feb. 26, 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (4 hrs) LOCATION: Meet at the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center located off of Cut Off Road.
