Tour Guide: Claudia Dorn

Claudia Dorn has been a bird guide for The Skimmer for 10 years — where she has given whooping crane tours, as well as tours to rookery islands and inland birding sites during spring and fall migrations. As a member of the Colonial Waterbird Society, she has taken census of skimmer and waterbird colonies in Aransas and Nueces counties.

Early migrating warblers, thrushes, and vireo that might be seen are: Wilson’s, Yellow, Blackpoll warblers, N. Waterthrush, Hermit Thrush, Blue headed and red eyed vireo.

Limited to 10 people.
